DMKFoto Light Weight Monopod Walking Stick with Ball Head

Purchased this item beginning of September. First order arrived later than promised. The monopod itself is cheap quality and poor construction. The ball head will not stay tightened and will not support my Canon T1I. The foot pedal at bottom of monopod works to keep it steady but itwill not fold up when not in use. Makes walking very difficult.
Overall product is cheap and poorly constructed. As the saying goes “buy cheap-get cheap” would not recommend this product.

The options can get a little blurry. Going to have to try a ‘shoot out’ between this primary monopod (that can double as a walking stick/cane) and a primary walking stick/cane (doubling as a monopod).
This unit has a max a touch over 6′ (just under 2M). The ball head is simple and looks like it will be fine. Very light. Do not understand the issue with the rubber foot. It screws up to reveal a pointed metal tip for soft ground. Really like the foot clamp. I’m taking it to Berlin for a big fireworks show.
More later. Right now, I’ll say its a winner.

The TMKfoto monopod/walking stick has proved to be a cost effective tool. I have had a knee and a leg operation so I also use it as a cane. The wrist strap is worthless but easy to replace with some paracord. The rubber footpad is not effective but fits perfectly into a 1 inch cane tip. I also found a large flat drawer pull and rethreaded it to fit on the monopod head so I can use the device as a cane for walking and the remove it when I need the monopod.
