Excellent image stability, small form factor. The basic movement is very beautiful. The removable disk can fit in one direction, and this makes difficult the plate vertically, without repositioning the camera and shooting. Otherwise, solid product.

This is my first review of everything here on Amazon, but I am so happy with this product, I had to share. I had a regular monopod for video to play basketball for a year and was not happy with the UN-smooth pan I had. The judges are very narrow and the only spectators are lined up out-of-bounds, so I need a mono. I saw this gimmicky looking device with 3 legs and I was not sure it would work, but with a liberal return was worth groped. It works great! Nice and quiet, nice smooth pans and not worry about the slide down to the ground with the rubber feet. The monopod is worth every penny I paid and even if there is room for a tripod, are more likely to use instead of this.

Most are designed for monopods photography, this is designed for video. This is exactly what I was looking for. I really dig this stick! I have a monopod to be used on and off with several cameras over the years and have never been entirely happy with him. Sure, it has some stability, and was much more mobile a tripod, but when I shot video, which I'm still working to keep it stable as it had a tendency to oscillate unless it must be very vigilant. I always thought it would be very nice to have built a sort of extra stability, without a tripod complete. Manfrotto someone must have read my thoughts, or had the same idea, that is exactly what I hoped – better yet, actually, because this is much more stable and well built monopod with what I had. I am a very tall man (6'9 "), and this extends to the right where I want to about shoulder height. I thought I might need bigger Manfrotto 561BHDV, but now I can not imagine why I would need nothing else. This fits my needs. It was created with ease. They open their legs and snap, then open the catches for the three sections and slide down to the right position in order to save. The camera is connected via a quick release that is mounted on the bottom of the camera, and there is a catch on the issue, so you do not accidentally slip out of them. Once there on the hill, my camera is very safe. This is a very solid construction, with which you can quickly tell when you play with him for several minutes. One will be extended and secured, it is quite stable, I feel very comfortable with taking it outside and its use in a variety of circumstances. I use it mainly with my and my HFS10 Canon VIXIA Canon VIXIA HF10, which are both relatively light cameras. I did this or this will be represented at a stand, if the feet are found renewed. I still like my hand in the safe lanyard or save to keep me around the neck, but that implies that I was shot my hand on the camera during filming, and I can be very stable, as I pressed the use of a tripod. The thing is, for most of what I'm doing this is even better than a tripod. It is only suitable, if not a tripod – in the midst of a crowd, for example, or in a confined space. It's easier to pick up and move like a tripod, and also adds a little 'stability, as I go around with a camera (add weight to the camera and will do that – it's just laziness, it makes things a little to sway' less likely if you add the power). At the same time, this can pan and tilt as a tripod can, and even a little 'rotation is not so easy with a tripod. The Panorama section is simple: there is a cartridge of liquid at the base of the monopod that rotates smoothly. I like my stick just below the camera on the soft touch to continue to move and turn with both hands to adjust the panning. This version does not have a pan-arm (see 561BHDV for this), but I think I can still have a very smooth skin just kept turning. To tilt, loosen so the button on the mountain and tilts forward and back – or you can use the whole series in a ball head that tilted the stick on the feet connect. The ball head can be used for other moves. I find that if you reverse the direction of a pot is from left to right or vice versa, is moving vibration and less fluid, if at the same time, you move the stick the ball in a kind of half figure eight motion (clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on what I'm looking for). (My only concern about the lightweight design is that I expect the ball a bit 'loose with wear and therefore would not be stable when they are alone. The ball head is not much slack from the field and moves only when they put pressure on him, but I expect that may change with time. The manual addresses this issue, and there are screws that the case happened to be strengthened, but I wish there was some sort of handle, allow me to ensure the ball head, however, whenever I want it back, just press them to move, if I may. However, this seems a little application and has now asked the ball is as certain as I can and ready to use when I want and need .) I think (the stock and its likely successor, as the 561BHDV, which provides for the cameras heavier than I plan to use is with him), I think that this population has the potential to really change how people use video cameras . It 'easy to carry, easy to use, robust, and offers advantages over a tripod in situations where it would be easy to leave behind the tripod, or a tripod would be awkward or clumsy in shape or not.

I'm futzing with the Glidecam 2000 Pro and was not in the wind very well with my JVC GZ-HD7. I also wanted to use something easy to take pictures of many beautiful flowers of the neighborhood. I'm so glad I bought this Manfrotto 560B. From the first time I tried the device in a store, I fell in love with him. You see, if not fall in love with this city. . . For $ 148. 00, how can you go wrong. I will show you the most recent video taken on Sunday, how it works with http://vimeo Manfrotto monopod. com/947085 (Lisa's Flower Pictures) Thanks again for a great product. Warm and sincere wishes, Lisa J. Kassner, La Cañada CA

I like the feel of this monopod. It provides enough material for stability and remains simple and easy to wear. As a photographer, I have never been comfortable with the recording, because I am always on the road, hit the scan for the best next action, and now that I'm always in videography, I wanted to find a remedy to make sure I Capture the facilitating material as possible while they are rushing around from point to point. A tripod is not at issue, because I am a bungler, and do not want to waste time trying to create one for my "On The Run"-style shooting. I hesitate to start with a monopod that costs so much (for a video entry-level)-person, but now I'm glad I did. I love small feet. . . helps me to know where my base is not slipping on the floor when panning or tilting. I bought this to go with my Panasonic PV-GS500
