I use a Nikon DSLR camera tripod with a lens on a C-300 Benro Carbon 069m8-trip for travel. Great works. Manfrotto typical quality, sturdiness and weight. Not intervene to solve the packing for the trip a little ‘less compact than what I had. The movement is very smooth for a non-fluid head. OK for the camera, but no image. Quick-release lever has no safety lock. But when securely closed, is short, not to take anything. Good company with my Benro B-00 ball head. Too bad that does not share the same design plate quick release. Rating: 5 / 5

I like this little head a lot. E ‘is particularly useful if you have a telescope and a camera on the tripod itself. When I’m bird-watching, I have the scope mounted on a tripod, but also a camera in one case (run either Superzoom or DSLR) with a long lens. If something happens that I want to photograph, I am the camera Stativ.Selbst when used with a scope, which I actually prefer the 390/391 standard light Manfrotto Head, the 700RC2. Of 391, will not allow you to adjust the height of the tension on the pan or tilt, but the 700 is really or not (both heads of a pleasant constant average stress on both pan and tilt) vary. The 391 is just as functional, and the buttons are intuitive, especially the strip of land that, like a pan-tensioners Doppelzimmer.Einziger advantage is the 700 that are blocking the plate with tripod screw knob possible. With 391 you can (not just the lever provides tension to keep the plate in place), and the little lever some sticks in use. I was worried about them catching on anything, but in dealing with the head more than a year with both a scope and a camera, I never had a problem. Rating: 5 / 5
